Finding Pogies was today and one toss of the net just south of the pier netted enough for the days fishing. Decided to head
 out to 8A this time and the results are shown below. My friend Loren Rapport and Randy Tolbert were my crew today.
 At first we thought they were going to be eating like alligators since we caught the two fish shown below before we could all of the lines out. We then lost a king at when a barracuda exploded on him at boatside leaving us with nothing more than a head and then the same thing happened to a bonito. I got my revenge when I free gaffed the cuda and left him with a sore spot in his back. We continued fishing and lost a couple of more kings for whatever reason and caught a couple of spotted kingfish - saber toothed kingfish (cudas). Finished the day trolling a little while and were back in the port by 2:00 P.M.
