Today my crew was Jim, Jeff and Vicky Moore for a half day of fishing. We left the port at 8:00 AM and ran offshore in search of dolphin, however it just wasn't in the cards for us today. We trolled all the way out to 600' even though it was only a half day trip. As it turned out the bite was in the afternoon after three.

The highlight of the day was the 18# Wahoo that Jeff caught for his first offshore trip into the briny blue. We also caught a Barracuda and ran across a school of large Bluefish who were migrating north in a school that was so dense you could have walked on them.

Yummy, fresh Wahoo for dinner!
