Today my fishing buddies were a group of really fun guys for a half day of fishing. We started the day as usual trying to get some live pogies but they were nowhere to be found which definitely put us behind the eight ball for kingfishing. I was able to procure a few live mullet and as it turned out the live mullet ended up saving the day for us. We headed out to 8A reef for some kingfish. Unfortunately today catching wasn't going to be red hot on the kingfish but we did manage to catch two and a couple of Atlantic Sharpnose sharks which were released. What a fun bunch of guys and I was really dissapointed that I couldn't get them a little more action.
