Today my fishing buddies were Albert and his wife Lisa Beaudin and their two sons Tyler and Tanner visiting from Canada for a half day offshore Port Canaveral. The weather was again  beautiful with calm seas and light winds except that temperature was very hot.
    The upwelling continues and made the pogies impossible to to find today so we were relegated to using the infamous "spinning minnow". And, as is usually the case, the sardines twisted up our lines caused some tangles and caused a somewhat slower bite than usual.
    The highlight of the day was Albert hooking and catching a keeper Cobia to assure a tasty dinner for the fine folks from north of the border.

2 Barracuda One large released  and one small and kept for the table.
1 Bonito released.
